Numbers and Numerical Problems

Now that we’ve learned about negative numbers, integers, absolute value, and long division, we will apply these concepts to word problems and real-life situations.  We will see how negative numbers can be used to represent money losses and positive numbers be used to represent money gains.  We will also see how long division can play a role in determining how to divide money evenly among a group of people.
